My name is Aashita Doshi.
 
 I am a rising senior at Centennial High School.
 
As an aspiring physician-scientist, I plan to explore the field of genetics through my work in ISM and the expertise of my mentor. Whenever I am free, I enjoy reading, learning more about things that inspire me, and exploring the intersection of public health and research.

Through my work in independent study, I plan to acquire a wealth of knowledge about genetic disorders such as autoimmune and prion diseases. By challenging my abilities this year, I aspire to create awareness of genetic disorders through my high-quality final product. Demonstrating perseverance, integrity, and initiative, I hope to inspire others on my journey as I explore the profession of a scientific researcher.
