This week in ISM, I had the opportunity to provide feedback on my peers' presentations and learn about their research. I learned an incredible amount of information from phishing and AI models to the importance of doctor-patient communication. We have grown so much in our professional skills to our ability to conduct research, collaborate with professionals, and share our ideas. I am very thankful for the skillset ISM has given me. Moreover, as we prepare for the ISM Research Showcase at the Ford Center and our Final Presentation Night, the feedback my peers have indicated has been incredibly helpful. I am going to work on the pacing and flow of my presentation.
In preparation for my Final Product, Dr. Mutha have me advice on my Product Proposal and Calendar to best achieve my goals for this semester. Moreover, I conducted my last research assessment on the connections between liver cirrhosis and microbiome. Next week, I will continue to find relevant research papers about the connections of the microbiota to various diseases and then pick a disease to focus on. Finally, I intend to contact various professionals to understand the knowledge of the microbiome in the clinical and public setting, as well as come up with ideas about the visual representations of my diseases.
