Polish, Process, and Finalize

As I continue to work on my ISM Original Work Product, I continue to read research papers related to the human microbiome and consider the applications and the audience of my work. Throughout this week, I have made great progress on the various bacteria in the human microbiome and their connections to certain diseases. Next week, I want to focus on the sections concerning treatments such as probiotics and fecal microbiome transplantation. I also want to design flyers, brochures, and informative posters including diagrams and images to make information bite-sized and better suited for visual learners.

Furthermore, I want to include and research relative new research applications in the field. These will pinpoint the direction of future implications and convey the relevance and importance of the fact that the human microbiome is the future of medicine. Moreover, as I prepare for the Gallery Walk, I want to use the feedback from my mentor, my classmates, and my teachers to improve and make my product more applicable and relevant. It is wonderful to hear about my peers' Original Works and be able to create an Original Work Binder to showcase my work throughout the first semester.

I cannot wait to present my finished Original Work and continue my research over the next semester.
